Effective date: October 3, 2026 · Last updated: October 3, 2026

1 · The Flying Fillies Promise

Flying Fillies is a book for kids 8 and up, and for the grown-ups reading along. Our promise to families is simple:

  • We never ask kids for personal information. No names, no emails, no photos, no sign-ups.
  • No accounts for kids. Kids just read, watch, and explore.
  • No tracking. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and we never build profiles of kids.
  • Store links are for grown-ups. Some links go to stores such as Amazon, and we may earn from purchases made there (see Section 8).
  • We never sell information, whether it comes from kids or grown-ups.
  • We never use information about kids to train AI.
  • Grown-ups are in charge. Questions? Reach us anytime (see Section 2).

2 · Who We Are

BrainLush Media Inc. (“Flying Fillies,” “we,” “us”) operates flyingfillies.com. We are a Delaware corporation and the publisher of Flying Fillies: The Sky’s the Limit, written by Christy Hui.

This policy covers flyingfillies.com, including our store.

This policy is written for parents and guardians. It also covers the customers, licensees, partners, educators, and members of the press who visit our site.

We run our site from the United States.

3 · Kids: We Don’t Ask for Personal Information

We do not ask for or collect personal information from anyone under 18, beyond the basic technical information every website receives (Section 4). Our store and our contact form are for adults only.

  • We don’t ask for or collect a child’s name, email, home address, phone number, photo, voice, school, or location.
  • What “personal information” means: details that identify or contact a person, like a name, email, or photo. The law also counts some technical information, like an IP address, which we explain in Section 4.
  • Kids can’t create accounts, post comments, chat, or upload anything.
  • We don’t collect student records or biometric information.
  • Like every website, our servers automatically receive basic technical information, such as a device’s IP address, so that pages can load. We use it only to run and protect the site (see Section 4).
  • Buying is for grown-ups. Only adults may order from our store.
  • Our contact form is for adults only. If we learn that a child has contacted us, we delete the message promptly without using it.
  • Think your child sent us something? Email us at hello@flyingfillies.com, and we’ll delete it promptly.

4 · Technical Information

When anyone visits our site, including a child, our servers automatically receive technical information such as the device’s IP address, browser type, and the page requested.

  • We use it only to deliver pages, keep the site secure, block spam and bots, and fix errors.
  • We never use it to identify or contact anyone, build profiles, or show ads, and we don’t combine it with other information, except in our store, where an order records the IP address and browser type used to place it (see Section 6).
  • How we make sure: we don’t install advertising or analytics code on our site. Technical logs are kept by our web host, used only for security and fixing errors, never shared with advertisers, and deleted on schedule (Section 9).
  • Do Not Track: we don’t track visitors over time or across other websites. When a video plays, YouTube may collect information under its own policy (see Section 8).
  • Cookies: we don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Our site uses only the small technical files it needs to work properly. On our store pages, our payment provider also sets the cookies it needs to take payments safely and prevent fraud (see Section 6).

5 · Services We Use

We use authorized service providers and industry-standard tools to host, secure, and protect our website, to take payments, and to deliver email. They may use information only to help us run our site and our store. Our videos play through YouTube, which follows its own privacy policy (Section 8).

When We Might Share Information

We never sell or rent information. We share it only:

  • To deliver an order: we give the buyer’s name and address to the delivery service that brings it.
  • When the law requires it: for example, a court order, or to protect the safety of kids, our visitors, and our site.
  • If Flying Fillies changes hands: if our company or its assets are sold or merged, any new owner must keep the promises in this policy.

6 · Grown-Ups: Store Orders

When adults order from our store, we receive what you enter at checkout: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, what you ordered, and anything you write in the order notes. By placing your order, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

  • We use it only to fill your order, to send you emails about your order, and to answer your questions.
  • We pack and ship orders ourselves. We give your name and address to the delivery service that brings your order.
  • Payments: your card details go directly to our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Our store records the IP address and browser type used to place an order, with the order.
  • We don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
  • We never sell it or share it for advertising.
  • The services that help us run the store handle it for us only (see Section 5).

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time, unless the law requires us to keep it (see Section 2).

7 · Grown-Ups: Contact and Business Inquiries

When adults use our website and contact form or email us, we receive what you choose to send: your name, email address, organization, the subject of your inquiry, and anything you write to us. Before sending the form, you confirm that you are 18 or older and agree that we may use this information to reply to you.

  • We use it only to reply to you and to continue our business conversation.
  • We don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
  • We never sell it or share it for advertising.
  • The services that help us run the site and block spam handle it for us only (see Section 5).

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time, unless the law requires us to keep it (see Section 2).

8 · Links, Videos, Social Media and Amazon

Our site links to places we don’t run, such as Amazon, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X. When you leave our site, that company’s own privacy policy applies.

  • Videos: We show YouTube videos in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. When a video plays, YouTube may collect information under its own policy. YouTube may show ads on videos it hosts; we don’t choose these ads or earn money from them.
  • Store links are for grown-ups. Some links go to stores such as Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
  • Social media links and share buttons are labeled for grown-ups. We don’t add social “like” or “share” buttons that track visitors.

9 · How Long We Keep Information

We keep information only as long as we need it, then delete it according to the authorized vendor’s policy.

10 · Your Rights as a Parent or Guardian

Because we do not collect information that identifies your child, there is nothing for us to review or delete. However, you can still ask us anytime so we can check and verify. If our records show that we have any information about your child, or have collected information about your child without our knowledge, we’ll delete it and stop any further collection.

To protect your family, we may ask you to confirm your identity and that you are the parent or guardian. Please reach us by mail, phone, or email (see Section 2). We answer every request from a parent or guardian.

11 · Keeping Information Safe

Our site uses a secure connection (HTTPS). We use commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect information. We limit who can see orders and business inquiries, and we choose service providers that protect the information they handle for us. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep what we collect to a minimum.

12 · Changes to This Policy

If we make an important change, we’ll post a notice on our site before it takes effect and update the date at the top of this page. If we ever want to collect personal information from children, we will ask a parent or guardian for permission first, as the law requires.
